Explanatory Note.
(This Note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general purport).
These regulations provide a comprehensive table of fees payable under the Merchant Shipping Acts and the Merchant Shipping Ordinance 1953 and sub- sidiary legislation. The fees are specified in the form of a Schedule showing the service in respect of which the fee is imposed and the amount of the fee. A Second Schedule contains the amendments to the subsidiary legislation required by the introduction of these regulations and also the amendments required as a result of the introduction of the Merchant Shipping (Amendment)" Ordinacce 1965 which, Inter alia, abolishes the reference to subsidiary legislation by "Tables".
