"(4) Any person who contravenes the provisions of subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine of five hundred dollars and to imprisonment for three months.".

Regrest and replacement of section 15.
Section 12 of the principal Ordinance is amended-
by being renumbered as subsection (1) thereof; and (b) by the insertion of the following new subsection-
"(2) Any person who contravenes any of the pro- visions of this section shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine of five hundred dollars and to imprisonment for three months.".
8. Section 15 of the principal Ordinance is repealed and replaced by the following-
*General penalties.
15. Any person who is guilty of an offence under section 3, 4, 5 or 6 shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine of one thousand dollars and to imprisonment for six months.".
This printed impression has been carefully compared by me with the Bill which passed the Legislative Council on the 8th day of April, 1954, and is found by me to be true and correctly printed copy of the said Bill.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Foreign Judgments Short útle (Reciprocal Enforcement) (Amendment) Ordinance, 1964, and shall and com- come into operation on a day to be appointed by the Governor by Proclamation in the Gazette.

1. Section 2 of the Foreign Judgments (Reciprocal Enforcement) Amendment Ordinance, 1960 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Ordinance) is of section 2. amended by the deletion, in subsection (1), of the definition “judgment" (13 of 1960). und the substitution therefor of the following-
"judgment" means—
(e) a judgment or order given or made by a court in any civil
proceedings; or
