"(2) Any person who contravenes any of the pro- visions of this section shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine of five hundred dollars and to imprisonment for three months.". Section 15 of the principal Ordinance is repealed and replaced replacement by the following-

Enforcement) Ordinance, 1960.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Foreign Judgments Short title (Reciprocal Enforcement) (Amendment) Ordinance, 1964, and shall and com- come into operation on a day to be appointed by the Governor by Proclamation is the Gazette.

1. Section 2 of the Foreign Judgments (Reciprocal Enforcement) Amendment Ordinance, 1960 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Ordinance) is of section 2- amended by the deletion, in subsection (1), of the definition “judgment" (13 of 1960). und the substitution therefor of the following-

"judgment" means—

(a) a judgment or order given or made by a court in any civil

proceedings; or
