BUILDING (DEMOLITION WORKS) (AMENDMENT)

REGULATIONS, 1964.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 26 of the Buildings Ordinance, 1955, the Governor in Council has made the following regulations-

1. These regulations may be cited as the Building (Demolition Citation Works) (Amendment) Regulations, 1964, and shall come into operation and com on the 24th day of August, 1964.

Explanatory Note.

(This Note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general purport).

These regulations amend the Building (Demolition Works) Regulations, 1962. so as to provide that, where demolition works are being carried out, adequate precautions shall be taken to prevent the accidental collapse of any building," and bot coly an adjoining building.
