DANGEROUS GOODS (CLASSIFICATION) REGULATIONS, 1964. In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Dangerous Goods Ordinance, 1956, the Governor in Council has made the follow- ing regulations---
These regulations may be cited as the Dangerous Goods Clation and (Classification) Regulations, 1964, and shall come into operation on commence- the day appointed for the coming into operation of the Dangerous Goods (Amendment) Ordinance, 1964.

2. In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires "flash point" means, in relation to any liquid, the lowest temperature, if any, at which such liquid will give off vapour which will ignite or explode if mixed with air and exposed to a naked light.

CATEGORY 1.
Explosives.
Class 1---Gunpowder.
"unpowder" means gunpowder composed essentially of a mixture of sulphur,
saltpetre and carbon.

Gunpowder,
Class 2-Nitrate mixture.
"nitrate mixture" means any preparation, other than gunpowder as defined in elags 1, formed by the mechanical mixture of a nitrate with any form of carbon or with any carbonaceous substance not possessed of explosiva properties, whether sulphur be or be not added to such preparation, and whether such preparatión be or be not mechanically mixed with any other non-explosive substance.
