An Ordinance to amend the Landlord and Tenant Ordinance, Chapter

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Landlord and Tenant Short title. (Amendment) Ordinance, 1963.

1. Section 27 of the Landlord and Tenant Ordinance (hereinafter Amendment referred to as the principal Ordinance) is amended by the deletion of of section 27. Paragraph (a) of subsection (1) and the substitution therefor of the (Cap. 235. following-

"(a) A tenancy tribunal shall, when the Chief Justice so directs, be constituted by a president alone and in all other cases by a president and such one or more members of the tenancy tribunal panel appointed under paragraph (a) of section 30 as the Chief Justice may direct.
