PUBLIC HEALTH AND URBAN SERVICES ORDINANCE, 1960. (No. 30 of 1960).

PUBLIC MARKET (AMENDMENT) (NO, 2) BY-LAWS, 1963.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 30 of the Public Health and Urban Services Ordinance, 1960, the Urban Council has made the following by-laws-

1. These by-laws may be cited as the Public Market (Amendment) Citation. (No. 2) By-laws, 1963,

1 By-law 13 of the Public Market By-laws, 1960, is amended by Amendment the deletion of the word "Director" and the substitution therefor of of by-law 13. The following-

(This Note is not part of the by-laws, but is intended to indicate their general purport).

The effect of these by-laws is to substitute for the Director of Urban Services the Urban Council as the Authority by whom may be exercised the powers granted by by-law 13 to prevent persons who have been convicted of certain offences from carrying on business in public markets situated in the Urban Areas.
