Governor.
BY HIS EXCELLENCY SIR ROBERT BROWN BLACK, Keight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same.
WHEREAS
(a) by section 12 of the Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) Ordinance, Chapter 15, it is provided that where the Governor is satisfied that reciprocal provisions have been made by the legislature of any British possession of any territory under Her Majesty's protection or any country for the enforcement within such possession, territory or country of maintenance orders made by the courts in Hong Kong, the Governor may by proclamation extend such Ordinance to such possession, territory or country:
(6) I am satisfied that the legislature of the Republic of South
Africa has made reciprocal provisions as aforesaid:
NOW, THEREFORE. 1. ROBERT BROWN BLACK, do hereby PROCLAIM that the said Ordinance shall extend to the Republic of South Africa as from the 1st day of September, 1963.
