IMMIGRATION (CONTROL AND OFFENCES) (AMENDMENT)

REGULATIONS, 1963.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 42 of the Immigra- tian (Control and Offences) Ordinance, 1958, the Governor in Council was made the following regulations-

1. These regulations may be cited as the Immigration (Control Citation. and Offences) (Amendment) Regulations, 1963.

"(4) The Director may issue an entry permit on pay- ment of the reduced fee, in respect of any person who is desirous of entering the Colony from China or Macau between the 1st day of July and the 1st day of September or between fourteen days before and fourteen days after Chinese New Year's Day, for the purpose only of a holiday, if the Director is satisfied that, on the date of entry, such person either.........

(a) is or will be under the age of 18 years; or (b) is or will be between the ages of 18 years and 26 years and is in receipt of full time education in China or in Macau.".
