An Ordinance to amend the Wild Birds and Wild Mammals Protection

Ordinance, 1954.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Wild Birds and Wild Short title. Mammals Protection (Amendment) Ordinance, 1962.

2. The Wild Birds and Wild Mammals Protection Ordinancs, Amendment 1954 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Ordinance) is amended of First

Schedule. by the deletion of the First Schedule and the substitution therefor of the following new Schedule-

(8 of 1954).

"FIRST SCHEDULE.

[M, 2 & 6.]

GAME

CLOSE SEASON

Resident Birds.

Chinese Francolin (Partridge)

Dove, including Spotted-Neck Dove

From 15th February to 31st October, both days inclusive.

From 1st March to 14th October. both days inclusive.
