An Ordinance to amend the Jury Ordinance, Chapter 3.

[24th August, 1962.]

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and

consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Jury (Amendment) Short ude. Ordinance, 1962.

2. Section 2 of the Jury Ordinance (hereinafter referred to as Amendment the principal Ordinance) is amended by the deletion therefrom of the of section 2. definition "list of common jurors”.

3. Section 5 of the principal Ordinance is amended by-

(a) the deletion of the words "not be liable to serve" and the

substitution therefor of the following-

"be exempt from service",

(b) the deletion of paragraph (k) and the substitution therefor

of the following-

"(Cap. 81).

(4) pilots licensed under the Pilots Ordinance, and the master and members of the crew of any ship:":

(Cap. 3).

Amendment of section 5.
