9. (1) The Director or the Marketing Officer ma refuse to issue any permit required under these regulation: and may cancel any such permit at any time.
(2) A permit issued under these regulations by the Director or the Marketing Officer shall be subject to such conditions as the Director or the Marketing Officer consider necessary for the purpose of carrying out the objects of the Ordinance.

to such persons or agents or their dependants; () do such other things as may be necessarily ancil- lary to the proper carrying out of any of the aforesaid functions.".
10. Regulation 22 of the principal regulations is amended—

paragraph-
"(1A) Any person who contravenes any condition to which a permit issued under these regulations is subject shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable to a fine of one thousand dollars and to imprisonment for six months."; and
(c) by the deletion of sub-paragraph (a) of paragraph (3).
