PROCLAMATION

No. 5 of 1962.

Governor.

BY HIS EXCELLENCY SIR ROBERT BROWN BLACK, Kaight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George. Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same.

WHEREAS by regulation 1 of the Emergency (Deportation and Detention) Regulations, 1962 (G.N. No, A, 50 of 1962), it is provided that the said Regulations shall come into operation on a day to be #appointed by the Governor by Proclamation in the Gazette:

Now, THEREFORE. I. ROBERT BROWN BLACK, do hereby PROCLAIM that the said Regulations shall come into operation on the 27th day of July, 1962,

GIVEN under my band and the Public Seal of the Colony of Hong Kong this 26th day of July, 1962.
