PENICILLIN ORDINANCE,
(Chapter 137),
PINICILLIN (AND OTHER SUBSTANCES) {AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1961.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Penicillin Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the following regulations
1. These regulations may be cited as the Penicillin (and other Citation. Substances) (Amendment) Regulations, 1961.
1 The Schedule to the Penicillin (and other Substances) Regula- Amendment tops, 1957, is amended by the addition of the following items-
"17. Carbomycin
18. Cycloserine
19. Griseofulvin
20. Калашусіц
21. Paromomycin
22. Ristocetin
23. Vancomycin
of Schedule, (G.NA
An antibiotic agent isolated from strains of 56/57). Streptomyces halstedii.
An antibiotic agent isolated from strains of Streptomyces orchidaceus and S. garyphalus. An antibiotic agent isolated from strains of Penicillium griseofulvum,
An antibiotic agent isolated from strains of Streptomyces kanamyceticus.
An antibiotic agent isolated from strains of Streptomyces rimosus.
An antibiotic agent isolated from strains of Nocardia lurida.
An'antibiotic agent isolated from strains of Streptomyces orientalis.".

Explanatory Note,
(This Note is not part of the regulations, but is intended
to indicate their general purport).
The purpose of these regulations is to extend the application of the Penichilia Ordinance to those antibiotic agents specified in the regulations.
