CENSUS ORDINANCE, 1960.

(No. 2 of 1960).

Census (No. 3) Order, 1961.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Census Ordinance, 1960, the Governor in Council bas made the following Order-

1. This Order may be cited as the Census (No. 3) Order, 1961, Citation,

2. A post-enumeration check census shall be taken on the 8th Census onder. and 9th days of April, 1961,

3. The purposes of the said consus are—

Purpose of CEDBUL

(a) to test by sample the completeness with which the population

was enumerated in the censuses held under the Census (No. 1) (G.N.A. Order, 1961, and the Census (No. 2) Order, 1961, respectively; 15/6!).

and

(b) to test by sample the accuracy with which the individual ages

of persons were recorded in those censuses.
