An Ordinance to amend The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking

Corporation Ordinance, Chapter 70,

[23rd June, 1961]

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and

consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows........

1. This Ordinance may be cited as The Hongkong and Shanghai Short tille, Banking Corporation (Amendment) Ordinance, 1961.

Section 7 of The Hongkong and Shangbai Banking Corpora- Amendment tion Ordinance is amended by the deletion of subsection (1) and the of scotion 7. substitution therefor of the following-

(Cap. 70).

"(1) The capital of the bank is one hundred million dollars divided into four million shares of twenty-five dollars each.”.
