An Ordinance to amend the Registration of Persons Ordinance, 1960.
[26th May, 1961]
Bs it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice
and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Registration of Persons Short title. (Amendment) Ordinance, 1961.
2. Section 6 of the Registration of Persons Ordinance, 1960 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Ordinance) is repealed.
3. Section 10 of the principal Ordinance is amended-
Repeal of
section 6. (18 of 1960).
Amendment
of sec-
(a) by the substitution of a colon for the full stop at the end of God 10.
proviso (v); and
(6) by the addition after proviso (v) of the following-
"(vi) notwithstanding the provisions of proviso (1), the Governor may by order published in the Gazette declare that any person affected by any order made under pro- viso (iv) shall cease to be deemed to be registered or
