Explanatory Note,

(This Note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to Indicate their general purport).

These regulations replace the Hong Kong Air Navigation (Landing and Housing Fess) Regulations, 1955. Landing fees are increased and the additional fee for use of airport Lighting is abolished. Additional fees are prescribed for landing and uke-off apside pormal watch hours and for aircraft which remain on the terminal apron for longer than pus and a half hours. A passenger service fee is prescribed and minor amendments are made to other fees.

DEFENCES (FIRING AREAS) ORDINANCE.

(Chapter 196).

DEFENCES (FIRING AREAS) (AMENDMENT OF SCHEDULES)

Order, 1960.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 11 of the Defences (Firing Areas) Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the following Order-

I. This Order may be cited as the Defences (Firing Areas) Citation. (Amendment of Schedules) Order, 1960.

2. Part I of the First Schedule to the Defences (Firing Areas) Amendment Ordinance (hereinafter referred to as the principal Ordinance) is of First

Schedpic. amended by the deletion of paragraph (e) headed “Firing Area E" and (Cxp. 19%), the substitution therefor of the following-

"(e) Firing Area E (Lo Wu Classification Range)—

The area included in this Firing Arca is bounded as follows-

By a line starting at a point grid reference KV 01449326 thence in a direction 33° to a point at grid reference KV 01669360 thence in a direction 42o to a point al grid reference KV 01839379 thence in a direction 102° to a point at grid reference KV 02109374 thence in a direction 164" to a point at gril reference KV 02199343 thence in a direction 247" to a point at grid reference KV 01889329 thence in a direction 258" to a point at grid reference KV 01489320 thence in a direction 324° to the starting point.",

The Third Schedule to the principal Ordinance is amended by Amendment the deletion of sub-paragraph (d) of paragraph 5 and the substitution of Third therefor of the following-

"(d) for Firing Area E-

by a red flag flown at grid references-

(1) KV 018933;
