ADOPTION (AMENDMENT) RULES, 1960,

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 37 of the Supreme Court Ordinance and section 11 of the Adoption Ordinance. 1956, Wc. the Rules Committee, hereby make the following rules-

1. These rules may be cited as the Adoption (Amendment) Rules, Ciration. 1950.

2. The Adoption Rules (hereinafter referred to as the principal Amendment nika) are amended by the addition at the end of rule 2 of the of rule 2. following-

(3) In any discrepancy between the English version and the Chinese version of any matter in any form, the English version shall prevail.".

Provided that the Director, if he should consider such action is necessary or desirable, may, in his absolute dis- cretion, waive payment of such fee or any part thereof.

(3) As soon as is practicable after such service the Director shall enter ao appearance for the infant.”.
