PEMAL CULTURE (CONTROL) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1960.
lo exercise of the powers conferred by section 16 of the Pearl Culture (Control) Ordinance, 1958, the Governor in Council has made Se following regulations--
1. These regulations may be cited as the Pearl Culture (Control) Citation. Abendment) Regulations, 1960.
2. The Pearl Culture (Control) Regulations, 1959 (hereinafter Substitution referred to as the principal regulations) arc amended by the deletion of throughout

Explanatory Note.
(This Nore is not part of the regularlons, but is intended
to indicate their general purport).
These regulations are complementary to the provisions of the Pearl Culture Courel) (Amendment) Ordinance, 1960 and substitute in the form of regulations protection afforded to the Pleria oyster as specified in regulation 2 of these slations for the protection previously afforded to that oyster by section 9 of
Pearl Culture (Control) Ordinance, 1958, now repealed.
