BY HIS EXCELLENCY SIR ROBERT BROWN BLACK, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same.

WHEREAS by section 1 of the Road Traffic Ordinance. 1957 (No. 39 of 1957) it is provided that section 13 of the said Ordinance shall come into operation on a day to be appointed by the Governor by proclama- tion in the Gazette :

NOW, THEREFORE, 1. ROBERT BROWN BLACK, do hereby PROCLAIM that section 13 of the said Ordinance shall come into operation on the 7th day of October, 1960.
