CENSUS ORDINANCE, 1960.

(No. 2 of 1960).

CENSUS (No. 2) Order, 1960,

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Census Ordinance, 1960, the Governor in Council bas made the following ¡Order-

1. This Order may be cited as the Census (No. 2) Order, 1960.

Citation.

2. A pilot census shall be taken at 2 am. on the 25th day of Cereus October, 1960, of the population then dwelling in any part of the Colony order. other than those dwelling affoat in small craft.

3. The purposes of the said census are......

(a) to obtain by sample an estimate of the population of the

Colony, except those dwelling afloat in small craft, and

(b) to test the organization for the taking of census under the

Census Ordinance, 1960.
