Repeal and replacement of section 4.

Deletion of Schedule

3.

Section 4 of the principal Ordinance is repealed and replaced by the following-

"Power of Governor

in Council to exempt from principal Ordinance

such building works as be may specify.

4. (1) The Governor in Council may by regulation provide that such of the provisions of the principal Ordin- ance, and such of the provisions of the regulations made under that Ordinance, as may be specified shall not apply to building works for the erection, alteration or demolition of, or which are otherwise connected with, such buildings, situated or to be situated in the New Territories, as may be specified.

(2) Regulations made under this section may make such transitional provisions as the Governor in Council may consider necessary.".

The principal Ordinance is amended by the deletion therefrom of the Schedule thereto.

Citation and Interpretation.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Midwives Registration Short tide. Ordinance. 1960.
