12. The Schedule to the principal Ordinance is amended by the deletion of Form 2 and the substitution therefor of the following Form-

NOTICE. Jury Service.

Whereas it appears to me that you are a person qualified and liable in accordance with the provisions of section 4 of the Jury Ordinance to serve as a juror, you are hereby nolifted that your name will be added to the joint Electoral Register and Jury List unless within 14 days after the receipt of this notice you notify me in writing that you claím cxemption from jury service on either of the following grounds.........

(a) that you do not qualify for jury service under the provisions of sex-

tion 4 of the Jury Ordinance; or

(8) that you are entitled to exemption from jury service under the provisionu

of section 5 of the Jury Ordinance.

2. A copy of the relevant provisions of sections 4 and 5 of the Jury Ordinance are attached bereto for your information.

Urban Council Elections.

3. If, upon claiming exemption from jury service as indicated in para- graph 1, your claim is accepted, your name may nevertheless be included in the Electoral Register for the purpose of voting at the next forthcoming_Urban Council elections upon your forwarding to me an application to that effect on Form 2 of the Appendix to the Urban Council Elections (Registration of Electors) Regulations, 1953. I shall be pleased to supply you with such a form upet request or you may obtain such a form from any post office.

4. A copy of the provisions of sections 15 to 17 inclusive of the Urban Council Ordinance, 1955, relating to franchise, is attached for your information.
