An Ordinance to amend the Adoption Ordinance, 1956.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and

consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Adoption (Ammendment) Short Fille Ordinance, 1960,

2. Section 2 of the Adoption Ordinance, 1956 (hereinafter referred Amendment as the principal Ordinance) is amended by the addition after the of section defnition “Court" of the following—

""Director" means the Director of Social Welfare;"

3. The principal Ordinance is amended by the addition after Addition of section 2 of the following new section—

"Delegation,

2A. The Director may delegate any of his powers. duties and functions under this Ordinance to any public officer."
