Section 20 of the principal Ordinance is amended by the of section 20. addition at the end thereof of the following-

"(3) The provisions of this section shall not apply to the payment to the Director of any fee prescribed by rules made in accordance with the provisions of section 11.".

An Ordinance to amend the Clean Air Ordinance, 1959.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and

consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Clean Air (Amendment) Short title. Ordinance, 1960.

2. Section 2 of the Clean Air Ordinance. 1959 (hereinafter Amendmzal referred to as the principal Ordinance) is amended by the insertion of section 2. before the definition "scheduled area" of the following new definition- (19 of 1959),

"Ringelmann Chart" means a shade chart of the type known at

the date of the enactment of this Ordinance as a Ringelmann Chart or such other device corresponding to purpose thereto as the Governor may from time to time approve by notifica. tion in the Gazette;”.
