(1) by the deletion of the words “in any dwelling”; and (ü) by the deletion of the words "the dwelling" and the substitution therefor of the following-

(B) in subsection (2) by the deletion of the words "such dwelling"

and the substitution therefor of the following-

The principal Ordinance is amended by the addition, after section 52, of the following new section-

"Obstruction

of authorized officer an offence.

53. Any person who resists or obstructs any authoriz- ed officer in the exercise of his powers under provisions of this Ordinance shall be guilty of an offence and liable to a fine of one thousand dollars and to imprisonment for six months.".

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Bills of Exchange (Amend- Short file ment) Ordinance, 1960, and shall come into operation on 1st day of and com April, 1961.
