An Ordinance further to amend the Quarantine and Prevention of

Disease Ordinance. Chapter 141.

[3rd June, 1960.]

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and

consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Quarantine and Prevention Short title. of Disease (Amendment) Ordinance, 1960.

2. The Quarantine and Prevention of Disease Ordinance is Amendment amended by the addition, after section 59A, of the following new section

"Power of

(a) that an epidemic of smallpox exists in the Colony,

or in any part thereof; or

(b) that the Colony, or any part thereof, is threatened
