3. Section 28 of the principal Ordinance is amended by the deletion of the words and full stop "shall upon summary conviction be liable to imprisonment for three months." and the substitution therefor of the following—

"shall upon summary conviction be liable-

(a) for a first or second offence, to imprisonment for

three months; and

(b) for a third or subsequent offence, to imprisonment

for eighteen months.",

An Ordinance to grant to the China Motor Bus Company Limited the exclusive right to maintain and operate certain public transport services.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Public Transport Services Short title (Hong Kong Island) Ordinance, 1960 and shall come into operation and com on the 15th day of February, 1960.
