GOVERNMENT BUSINESS.

(1) Resolution regarding the Report of the Select Committee on

the Fatimates for 1960-61.

The Colonial Secretary to move the following resolution :-

Resolved that the Report of the Select Committee, to which was referred the draft Estimates of Revenue and Expendi- ture for 1960-61, be adopted.

(2) Dütiable Commodities Ordinance, Chapter 109.

The Financial Secretary to move the following resolution ;-

Resolved, pursuant to section 4 of the Dutiable Commodities Ordinance, Chapter 109, that the duties on Hydrocarbon Olls set forth in the Resolution of the Legislative Council published as Government Notification No. 4.205 in the Gazette of the 5th December, 1952, be revoked with effect from 2 o'clock P.M. on Wednesday, the 24th February, 1960, and that thereafter duty shall be payable og hydrocarbon oils at the following rates;

(a) light oils

(b) heavy cila

$1.25 per gallon

(£) diesel oil for road vehicles

$104 per ton

A 26 per ton

Á 24 per ton

(ii) other diesel oil

(iii) furnace oil

(iv) other heavy oils not specified

above

(3) Dutiable Commodities Ordinance. Chapter 109.

10 cents per

gallon.

The Financial Secretary to move the following resolution :-

Resolved, pursuant to section 4 of the Dutiable Commodities

Ordiondos, Chapter 109, that the duties on Tobacco set forth ig the Resolution of Legislative Council published as Goverment Notification No. A.14 in the Gazette of the 20th March, 1959, be revoked with effect from 2 o'clock P.M. on Wednesday, the 24th February, 1960, and' that thereafter duty shall be payable on tobacco at the following rates par 1b.:
