EXPORT CONTROL (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1959.

In exercise of the powers vested in me as Competent Authority under regulation 50 of the Defence Regulations, 1940, I. DERMONT CAMPBELL BARTY, hereby Order as follows:-

1.

ORDER.

This Order may be cited as the Export Control (Amendment) Order, 1959.

2. Paragraph 1 in the Schedule to the Expert Control Order, 1950 is hereby amended by the deletion of "(c) [raq" from the list of countries.

Explanatory Note.

Iraq is no longer in the Scheduled Territories (formerly known as the Sterling Area). This order means that special licences will be required for the export of all poods of any description to Iraq.
