Explanatory Note.

to indicate their general purport).

These regulations replace section 34 of the Buildings Ordinance, Cap. 123. They are of a technical nature. Regulation $1 empowers a Building Authority to require additional work to be carried out where lift works are being undertaken. The additional work, would be to ensure the safety of persons using the lift.
