(b) Every layout plan so submitted shall be drawn to a scale of

one inch to every twenty feet.

(c) Longitudinal sections so submitted shall-

(i) if horizontal, be drawn to a scale of not less than one inch to every fifty feet; and

(i) if vertical, be drawn to a scule of not less than one inch to every twenty feel.

(d) Cross sections so submitted shall be drawn to a scale of not

less than one inch to every twenty feet.

(e) Typical road sections so submitted shall be drawn to a scale

of not less than one inch to every four feet.

(3) Every block plan shall be drawn to a scale of not less than one inch to every fifty feet.

14. (1) Every plan submitted to the Building Authority for his approval shall be drawn or reproduced in a clear and intelligible manner on suitable and durable material.

(2) Engineering drawings shall not be reproduced, for submission to the Building Authority, on ferro-prussic prints.

(3) Every plan shufl be so coloured as to clearly differentiate cxist- ing work from new work and one part of any new work from the other parts thereof.

15. The Building Authority may refuse to accept plans from two or more authorized architects in respect of works at the same premises.

16. It shall be the duty of every authorized architect, prior to submitting any plans to the Building Authority for his approval, to- (a) make proper inquiries regarding the position and depth of any sewer to which any other drains or sewers are to be connected; (b) ascertain the requirements of any other authority in respect of any conditions with regard to the registration or licensing of any premises or the issue of any permit;

(c) ascertain that the building works or street works will not cool- Iravene any condition contained in any Crown lease in respect of the lot on which such work is to be carried out; and

(d) ascertain that the building works or street works will not con- travene any approved or draft plan under the Town Planning Ordinance or any of the provisions of the Hong Kong Airport (Control of Obstructions) Ordinance, 1957,
