VEHICLE AND ROAD TRAFFIC (AMENDMENT) (No. 2) REGULATIONS, 1959.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Road Traffic Ordinance, 1957, the Governor in Council has made the following regulations→→→

1. These regulations may be cited as the Vehicle and Road Citation. Traffic (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 1959.

1. Part I of the Regulations headed "Vehicles and Traffic Regula- Arocodment tion" appearing on pages 723 to 816 of Volume II of the Regulations of Purt I. of Hong Kong (1937 Edition) (hereinafter referred to as the principal regulations) is amended by the deletion of the definitions of "Commer- cial motor vehicle", "Driver", "driving instructor", "Motor bicycle", "Motor, omnibus", "Motor tricycle", "Motor vehicle". "Net load". "Passenger". "Public vehicle". "Road", "Safety glass", "Taxicab", "Taximeter", "Trailer”, “Tricycle", "Passenger tricycle" and "Vehicle” contained in paragraphs (6), (d), (dd), (e), (), (e), (4), (3), (0. (m), (8). (0), (p), (g). (7), (5), (as) and (w).

3. Regulation 129 of the principal regulations is rescinded and Rescission replaced by the following

"(2) Any person who contravenes any of the provi sions of regulations 24. 32, 46(5), (6) and (7), 47, 48(6), (7). (8). (9) and (10), 69, 82, 112, 116, 117, 151, 175, 176, 177; 182 and 183 shall be guilty of an offence.":
