Nore: The sign shown in Diagram No. 27 may be used in combination with light sigonis prescribed by regulation 11 of the Regulations and shall be so fixed that its lower edge is level with the bottom of the signal head, and shall where practicable be filled on the left hand side of the signals.

The direction of the arrow shall be varied and the word "RIGHT" shall be substituted

for the word "LEFT" to accord with the direction required to be indicated.
