( there is at all times maintained at the place of

employment-

(i) an accurate register containing the name, serial number and photograph of every woman or young person employed for the time being on such scheme of shift work; and

(ii) an accurate register containing the name and serial number of every woman or young person employed for the time being on each shift of such scheme.

10B. Except with the permission in writing of the Commissioner no woman or young person em- ployed in any industrial undertaking shall be required or permitted to remain during any part of any interval required under regulation & to be allowed to such woman or young person for meals or rest in any room or enclosed compartment in which any industrial process is then being carried on.

100. Notwithstanding anything contained in this Part, no proprietor of any industrial undertaking shall employ therein any woman or young person on more than six days in any week.

100. The proprietor of every industrial under- taking in which women or young persons are employed shall maintain or cause to be maintained a register of all such women or young persons for the time being employed in such undertaking.

10E. For the purposes of regulations 9, 10, 194 and 10D, the Commissioner may prescribe by notifica- tion in the Gazette the form in which notices must be given or registers kept.

10F. Until and including the 30th day of June, 1959, the Commissioner may for any industrial under- taking, on application and subject to such conditions or restrictions as he may think fit to impose, extend- (a) the maximum working hours permitted under sub-paragraph (a)(ii) of paragraph (1) of regulation 8 to eleven hours in any day and sixty six hours in any week; and

(b) the maximum period of employment in any

day permitted under sub-paragraph (b)(ii) of such paragrapli (1) to thirteen hours.".

Part V of the principal regulations is rescinded and the Rescission following substituted therefor-

"PART V.

OFFENCES AND PENALTIES.

37. Any person who contravenes any of the pro- visions of regulation 3, 4 or 5 shall be guilty of an offence and liable to a fine of five thousand dollars.

39. Any person who-

(a) contravenes any of the provisions of regulation

15(4), 16 or 26(2); or

(b) contravenes any of the provisions of any order

made under regulation 25(1),

shall be guilty of an offence and liable to a fine of one thousand dollars.

39. The proprietor of any industrial undertaking- (a) who contravenes any of the provisions of

regulation 14(2), 25(2), 26(1) or 28(3):

(b) in which any person is permitted to do any-

(b) in respect of which any of the provisions of regulation 10A(2), 108, 21, 27, 31, 34(1), 35 or 36 are contravened,
