Amendment of Form $.
. Regulation 15 of the principal regulations is amended by the insertion at the bottom of the table in paragraph (1) of the following item-
"Television broadcast
receiving station.
$36 Annually from
date of issue.".
7. Form 3 in the principal regulations is amended by the insertion after the words "subject to the conditions set forth hereon." of the following-
"In this licence "wireless" does not include television.".

Explanatory Note.
(Thia Note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general purport).
These regulations provide for the issue by the Postmaster General of television broadcast receiving licences upon payment of a prescribed fee of thirty-six dollars.
2. The opportunity is taken to delete from regulation 1 of the principal regulations certain unnecessary definitions.

TELECOMMUNICATION EXEMPTION
(REDIFFUSION TELEVISION Subscribers) ORDER, 1957-
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 40 of the Telecommunication Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the following Order-
1. This Order may be cited as the Telecommunication Citation. Exemption (Rediffusion Television Subscribers) Order, 1957.
4. In this Order-
"television distribution station" means a station maintained and worked under and in accordance with the licence to establish a wired television service granted by the Governor in Council to Rediffusion (Hong Kong) Limited on the 26th February, 1957:
"redillusion television subscriber" means any person who has in his possession any apparatus connected by means of wires to a television distribution station.
Inter- pretation.
3. Every rediffusion television subscriber shall be exempted Exemption. from the provisions of section 39 of the Telecommunication (Cap. 106). Ordinance (which prohibits, inter alia, the possession of apparatus
for radiocommunication otherwise than under and in accordance with a licence) in respect only of apparatus connected by means of wires to a television distribution station for the sole purpose of receiving messages and programmes therefrom.
