3. Paragraph (1) of regulation 34 of the principal regulation regulations is amended by the deletion of the figures "16(1) and
(z)" and the substitution therefor of the following-

Amend- ment of Fourth Appendix.
"16(1)".
A. The Fourth Appendix of the principal regulations is amended by-m
(a) the deletion of sub-paragraph (i) from paragraph (a)
and the substitution therefor of the following~
"(il) Boundaries of the Stonecutters Island Quarantine
Anchorage,
On the north the southern shore of Stone- cutters Island, on the east a line due south from the southernmost point (viz. White Point) of Stonecutters Island, on the south a line drawn due west from a point 4.2 cables due south of White Point of Stonecutters Island (viz. 22° 18′ 36′′ north) and on the west, the western harbour limit.";
(b) the deletion of sub-paragraph (i) from paragraph (b) and
the substitution therefor of the following-
"(i) Boundaries of the Western Dangerous Goods
Anchorage.
On the north, the Southern limit of the quarantine anchorage, namely an east west line drawn through latitude 220 18′ 36′′ north, on the south the mast of the Royal Observatory, bearing ogo", on the east the southernmost point of Stone- cutters Island bearing north, and on the west the western harbour limit between the northern and southern boundaries."'

Explanatory Note.
(This Nole is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general purport).
Congestion in the approaches to the Naval Victualling Yard Chamber in Kowloon has been caused by the number of small craft hitherto allowed to lie alongside a vessel berthed moored to No. 5 North Berth of the Kowloon Wharf. It is also found desirable to extend the northern boundary of the Western Dangerous Gooda Anchorage.
The purpose and effect of these regulations are—–
(a) to restrict the number of small craft alongside a vessel moored
to No. 5 North Barth of the Kowloon Wharf to two; and
(b) to extend the northern boundary of the Western Dangerous Gooda
Anchorage to 22° 18' 36" north,
with certain consequential amendments.
