An Ordinance to amend the Fatal Accidents Ordinance,

Chapter 22.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice

and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Fatal Accidents Short title. (Amendment) Ordinance, 1957-

2. Section 2 of the Fatal Accidents Ordinance is repealed Repeal and and replaced by the following-

2. In this Ordinance-

"child" includes son and daughter, and grandson and granddaughter, and stepson and stepdaughter whether such relationship is created by blood or by reason of any adoption recognized as valid by the law of the Colony:
