Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Supreme Court Short title. (Amendment) Ordinance, 1957.

2. Paragraph (2) of section 14 of the Supreme Court Amendment Ordinance (hereinafter referred to as the principal Ordinance) is of section amended by the insertion, between the words "Commonwealth'' (Cap. 4). and "having", of the following-

"or the Republic of Ireland”.
