(a) No vehicle shall exhibit to the rear any illuminated miniature representation of traffic signals or other device which would tend to distract the attention of the driver of a following vehicle.

154. Every bulb used in an electric lamp showing light to the front fitted to any vehicle shall have the wattage thereof indelibly marked upon the glass or the metal cap thereof in a readily legible

manner.

155. No electric bulb of a power exceeding seven watts in any lamp showing a light to the front fitted to any vehicle shall be kept illuminated while such vehicle is stationary on a road:

Provided that this regulation shall not apply-a

(a) to lamps used-

(i) on any vehicle during an enforced stoppage of the vehicle owing to the necessities of traffic;

(ii) for the interior illumination of any vehicle;

(iii) on breakdown vehicles or tower wagons when in use for the special purpose for which they are intended ; (b) to searchlights or other special lamps fitted to any vehicle used for naval, military, air force, police or fire brigade purposes.

157. The owner, driver or other person in control or in charge of any vehicle-

(b) when required to do so by a police officer on the ground that the vehicle has been permitted to remain at rest on a road in such conditions or in such circumstances as to

be likely to cause danger to other persons using the road or to interfere with the use of the road,
