PROCLAMATION
No. 2 of 1956.

Br His EXCELLENCY SIR ALEXANDER WILLIAM GEORGE HERDER GRANTHAM, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same.
WHEREAS by section 1 of the Summary Offences (Amendment) Ordinance, 1955, (No. 69 of 1955), it is provided that the said Ordinance shall come into operation on a day to be appointed by the Governor by proclamation in the Gazette:
NOW THEREFORE I, ALEXANDER WILLIAM GEORGE HERDER GRANTHAM, do hereby PROCLAIM that the said Ordinance shall come into operation on the 1st day of June, 1956.
