tlom 42.
(d) by the deletion of paragraph (6) and the substitution
therefor of the following-
"(6) No learner driver's licence shall be issued to a person for the driving of an omnibus unless he has attained the age of 21 years and, unless exempted by the Commissioner of Police, has held a licence to drive a motor vehicle, other than a motor cycle or motor assisted pedal cycle, for a period of not less than three years.".
The Table to paragraph (2) of regulation 8 of the prin- cipal regulations is amended by-
(a) the addition after item 1 of the following new item-
Commercial motor vehicle

the user of which is re- stricted to construction sites and to public roads only at specified hours for the pur-
pose of proceeding to and from such sites.

"RA. Motor omnibus or chara- banc to be used 34 a PUBLIC VEHICLE solely in connexion with grants of exclusive rights of main- taining services of public motor vehicles for which a licence has been granted in accordance with the regula- tions headed "Public Motor Vehicle Services”.

Regulation 42 of the principal regulations is amended.
the deletion of the second paragraph and the substitution therefor of the following-
**A driver shall conform to the indications given by any traffic sign or signals lawfully erected for that purpose. Where the signals are indicated by lights-
(4) RED means STOP. Wait behind the stop
line on the carriageway.
(8) RED and AMBER also mean STOP. Do
not go until GREEN shows.
(c) GREEN means you may GO ON IF THE ROAD IS CLEAR. Take special care if you mean to turn right or left.
(d) AMBER means STOP at the stop line. You may go on if the AMBER appears after you have crossed the stop line or are so close to it that to pull up might cause an accident.
(e) GREEN ARROW means that you may GO IN THE DIRECTION SHOWN BY THE ARROW. You may do this what- ever other lights may be showing.";
(b) the deletion of the third paragraph,
8. Regulation 47 of the principal regulations is amended Amendment by the deletion of paragraph (7) and the substitution therefor of regula. the following-
