FERRIES ORDINANCE. (Chapter 104),

EXCLUDED Ferries (Ngau Tau Kok/Causeway BAY) REGULATIONS, 1936.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Ferries Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the following regulations-

1. These regulations may be cited as the Excluded Ferries Citation (Ngau Tau Kok/Causeway Bay) Regulations, 1956, and shall and com- come into operation on the 6th day of February, 1936.

2. The ferry named hereunder is excluded from the opera- Ferry tion of the Ordinance so long as-

(a) no exclusive and conflicting licence is granted under the operation

Ordinance; and

(b) the number of vessels serving the ferry run is adequate to maintain a service and schedule approved by the Director of Marine; and

(c) all directions which may be given by the Director of Marine in respect of ferry points or piers and their erec- tion, use and maintenance are complied with; and (d) only vessels licensed and approved for the purpose by

the Director of Marine are employed; and

(e) the fares and charges at any time taken and made are

approved by the Director of Marine :

Provided that notwithstanding the above prescribed condi- tions, the period of exclusion shall be for a period of two years terminating on the 5th day of February, 1958, determinable nevertheless during such period of exclusion by the Director of Marine on one month's notice being given.

The ferry of CHAN King Chuk, CHAN Che Ying and LING Kui Yan between Ngau Tau Kok and
