Explanatory Note.

(This Note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general purport).

In accordance with the provisions of regulation 4 of the Urban Council Elections (Registration of Electors) Regulations, 1956, the registration officer designated the Basketball Stadium, Southern Playground, as a polling station. These regulations cancel this designation and substitute therefor the designation of the Casam Club as a polling station.

LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL RESOLUTION.

Telephone Ordinance, 1951.

(Ordinance No. 18 of 1951),

Resolution made and passed by the Legislative Council under section 29(2) of the Telephone Ordinance, 1951, on the 25th day of January, 1956.

Resolved in accordance with subsection (2) of section 29 of the Telephone Ordinance, 1951, that as from the 1st day of February, 1956, the Schedule to the said Ordinance be amended by the deletion of the whole of item 2 of Parl V of the said Schedule and the substitution therefor of the following-

"2. For every junction call between areaB served by Fanling. Yuen Long, Ting Kau and Castle Peak Ex- changes and Hong Kong and Kowloon of three minutes or part thereof.
