customs in the Commonwealth and Empire in respect of any article, produced, processed or manufactured in the Colony; and to prescribe any conditions to be observed, before, or on, or after the issue or endorsement of such certificates, by any person interested in any way whatso- ever in the articles to which such certificates or the application therefor may relate, or who may be interested in any way whatsoever in the carriage of such articles or jo the documents relating to such articles;
(k) generally to regulate the exportation of any article;
(1) generally to carry into effect the provisions of this
Ordinance."*.

Bɛ it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice
and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Public Health Short title. (Animals and Birds) (Amendment) (No. a) Ordinance, 1956.
