Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice

and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Fire Brigade Short title. (Amendment) Ordinance, 1956.

2. Section 9 of the Fire Brigade Ordinance, 1954 (hereinafter Ameud- referred to as the principal Ordinance) is amended by the deletion ment of of the word "punished" and the substitution therefor of the (Ordinance following-
