Provided that the Governor in Council may in his absolute discretion entertain and pay compensation in respect of any moral claim arising out of any damage suffered by reason of an under- taking authorized under section 3.

9. Nothing in this Ordinance shall be deemed to be in derogation of any of the powers or rights of the Crown.

10. Nothing in this Ordinance shall be deemed to authorize the construction of any works within or interfering with the Admiralty works authorized by the Naval and Military Works Ordinance, 1906, without the previous consent of Her Majesty's Lord Commissioners of the Admiralty.

11. Part II of the Public Reclamations Validation and (40 of 1936). Clauses Ordinance, 1936, is repealed.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Marine Fish Short Litte (Marketing) Ordinance, 1956, and shall come into operation on a day to be appointed by the Governor by proclamation in the Gasette.

2. In this Ordinance, save where the context otherwise Inter- requires-
