(4) The provisions of the preceding paragraphs of this Article shall not confer any immunity or privilege on any person as the representative of Her Majesty's Government in Hong Kong or as a member of the staff of such representative or on any person who is a citizen of the United Kingdom and Colonies.
C. HIGH OFFICIALS OF THE ORGANIZATION.
9. Except in so far as in any particular case any privilege or immunity is waived by the Organization, any officer of the Organization holding the office of Secretary-General (including any officer acting for him during his absence from duty) shall be accorded in respect of himself, his spouse and his children under the age of twenty-one, the like immunity from suit and legal process, the like inviolability of residence and the like exemption or relief from taxes, other than income tax, as is accorded to an envoy of a foreign sovereign Power accredited to Her Majesty, his spouse and children, and exemption from income tax in respect of emoluments received by him as an officer of the Organization.
D. OTHER OFFICIALS OF THE ORGANIZATION,
10. Except in so far as in any particular case any privilege or immunity is waived by the Organization, officials of the Organization of any category specified by it shall enjoy :-
(a) immunity from suit and legal process in respect of words spoken or written and things done or omitted to be done by them in the course of the performance of their official duties;
(b) exemption from income tax in respect of emoluments received by them as officers or servants of the Organizu-

DIPLOMATIC PRIVILEGES ORDINANCE. (Chapter 190).
NOTIFICATION UNDER SECTION 2.
WHEREAS under section 2 of the Diplomatic Privileges Ordinance it was declared and provided in G.N.A. 102 of 1950:
THAT the International Civil Aviation Organization had been declared to be an organization of which His Majesty's Govern- ment in the United Kingdom and the Governments of Foreign Sovereign Powers were members :
Asp that the said International Civil Aviation Organization was an organization to which the Diplomatic Privileges Ordinance (Cap. 190), should apply:
AND that certain privileges and immunities should be enjoyed by representatives of member Governments to the Council of the Organization;
AND WHEREAS by Order in Council dated 4th November, 1954. Her Majesty in Council has ordered that paragraph (1) of Article 8 of the Diplomatic Privileges (International Civil Aviation Organization) Order in Council, 1949 (published for information as G.N.A, tor of 1950,) be amended.
NOW THEREFORE in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Diplomatic Privileges Ordinance His Excellency (Cap. 190). the Governor hereby provides that the privileges and immunities extended to representatives of member Governments to the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization by paragraph 8 of the Notification published as G.N.A. 102 of 1950, shail hereafter be enjoyed by representatives of member Govern- ments to the Assembly or to the Council of the Organization, to any Commission (however named) provided for in the constitution of the Organization, or to any Committee of such Assembly, Council or Commission,
