By His EXCELLENCY SIR ALEXANDER WILLIAM GEORGE HERDER GRANTHAM, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Flong Kong and its dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the

same.

WHEREAS by section 1 of the Factories and Industrial Undertakings Ordinance, 1955 (Ordinance No. 34 of 1955), it is provided that the said Ordinance shall come into operation on a day to be appointed by die Governor by proclamation in the Gasette :

NOW THEREFORE I, ALEXANDER WILLIAM GEORGE HERDER GRANTHAM, do hereby PROCLAIM that the said Ordinance shall come into operation on the 29th day of September.
